Day 48 Busan: Bosu-dong Book Street

“It is what you read when you don't have to that determines what you will be when you can't help it.”
― Oscar Wilde

After using Naver Map to find out my location, i realised that the cafe i was in is just 150m away from the book alley! From the cafe, i walked till i reach a major intersection and crossed to the side that is diagonally opposite.

Alternatively, from Jagalchi station, get out of exit 7, turn left at the corner and walk all the way straight for about 350m past PIFF square and Gukje Market. You will reach an intersection and you the grey pillar which says 'Bosu-Dong Book Street will be on the opposite side of the road.

I like how quiet the book street is, a stark contrast from the bustling streets of Gukje Market. I spend some time choosing a book at this store which sold a lot of English books. Every time i turn my head, stacks and stacks of books greet me and the smell of dust and old books somehow invigorate me.  It is one of those places that  encapsulates and somehow represents the lives of the people who live there. I almost lost the motivation to travel and explore(probably because i feel tired from rushing through stuff ) but this alley is the quintessence of what i hope stumble upon while i am on the move. Ok, in essence, i would love to find places that i feel comfortable in and attached to. Love at first sight, i suppose?
